Steve Shotwell is the Past-President of the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum in Detroit, Michigan. He has served as Chairperson of Piquette’s Exhibits Committee for multiple years. Since 2015, he has led the charge to implement Piquette’s Master Interpretive Plan - more than 60% of the visions outlined in the plan have now been implemented. Steve is also known for driving his Model T from New York to Seattle – a 31-day journey of a lifetime. Other museum-related topics for Steve include: maintaining and restoring a 1904 national historic landmark; Model T maintenance and restorations; starting Model T chapters around the world; author of a column for the Model T Ford Club International Model T Times journal; and national, state & local grants.
